Anyone work in the brick plants in or around Sugarcreek or Canton?
The reason I'm asking is I fish an area lake that I cannot identify(commando fishing) and the dam is made up of bricks set up on the end. On the top it states:

    Metropolitan

    Dunn

    Patented

    Canton OH

The Metropolitan is rounded as is Canton OH. The Canton OH and Patented are also upside down. Sorry I can't type it proper on the computer but you probably know what I mean.
Any history buffs out there? The lake was built around the 1920/30's.
I spent many hours there this summer bankfishing for cats and carp and wondered whether anyone would know about the company and why is a brick patented?
