My list is almost the same as Squid 1. I am 50 years old so my concert days go back to 1974. A few additions and highlights are Queen(spectacular), Rush(phenominal), the original Lynyrd Skynyrd(unbelievable) and Pink Floyd(the best). I wasn't real impressed with the Who or Rolling Stones although I love the Stones music. I've seen Aerosmith in 4 different decades beginning in 1975 at Vets. Memorial. J. Giels was probably the best live party band, man that Peter Wolf was a wild man on stage. Also so Black Sabath in their prime in 1976. Ozzy and Tony were unreal. The Skynyrd show and Floyd(Animals Tour-Cleveland Stadium) will never be matched. Man I'm having flashbacks!!!

I have a shoe box full of ticket stubs. I've been to well over 200 shows. I have stubs from the seventies when you used to be able to sit in the pavillion at Blossom for $6. Lawn seats were $4, and that was for top name talent. I have four Rolling Stones stubs from the eighties. The most expensive ones are $22 a seat. You can't even park at a Stones show for $22 anymore.

One of my best memories was sitting front row at a Todd Rundgren show at The Breakaway. At the end of the show, I told my buddy I'd meet him in the parking lot. I jumped up on stage, and walked over to a door, and let myself in. There was Todd, munching on pretzels and talking to the band (Utopia). I walked over and grabbed a handful of pretzels, as well, (I had the munchies), and started talking to Todd. He was a real nice, down to earth guy. We were shooting the bull for about ten minutes, and this lady came over and asked who I was. I told her my name was Steve, and extended my hand for a handshake. She wouldn't shake it. She then asked how I got backstage. I told her I jumped on stage and let myself into the dressing room. She then informed me that she was calling security. I told Todd I'd better leave, and he just laughed, shook my hand, and told me to take it easy. I got to meet him again two years later at the Ohio State Fair. I asked him if he remembered the incident at the Breakaway in Akron. He started laughing, and said that he did.

I've seen the Dead quite a few times as well. Jerry was present at the shows I saw. Best shows were at the Richfield Coliseum, front row center, two nights in a row, with Bruce Hornsby on keyboards.

I'm a little young to have seen the Dead w/ Jerry

however, I do have some of the shows on cd when Bruce Hornsby played with them and they are great.
