I was fishing off the pier in weedy water at Catawba State Park (Port Clinton/Marblehead area) last week and brought in a coal black catfish (11-12") with snow white belly. Head was relatively narrow and rounded. Tail seemed to have straight or only slightly indented tail - definitely not forked. I have never seen this fish before. I am assuming it might be a black or brown bullhead. Any other possibilities? Sorry, I cannot give you pics right now.
