Went with a friend yesterday and the bass were not on like they were Monday. We caught 3 or 4 so we went for the bluegill instead. They are on the beds big time. Catch em today because the beds will be raped this weekend. All were released. Will try agin tonight.
The are eater gills in Nimi but you have to find them. Most are 6-8". We also caught alot of redears but none were of any size. I didn't get to fish Nimi Friday night. I took the boat there and as I was about to launch, the wife called and said there was a line of storms coming and I maybe have 1-2 hours to fish. Took the boat home and went to a different lake walking the shoreline.
Waded nimi this morning caught a ton of gills' but only 14 were "bulls" brought them home and cleaned them for grandma.
