got on the water about 3pm and the wind was perfect. got 4 bass in the
1st 20 minutes all 16-17'' and then went dry for about an hour.
made a change from the weeds to the deep weed edges and switched
from a 3/8oz spinnerbait to a 9/16oz rattle bait and stayed 7-9 feet deep.
that got me 9 bass in an hour and a 1/2 all 2 1/2-3.3lb weighed em all and
was really surpised at the fact that there were all so close in size.
got off the water around 6:30 and headed home.

  2. i have a book on bass fishing. and i was reading the other day. and it said that bass stay in groups. all the small bass in a group and all the big bass in a group. so if you catch a small one chances are if you stay there you will catch more small ones. and if you catch big ones stay there. b/c there are more big ones.

yes i am aware of what is called a school of fish.
but i guess i should have explained that these fish were not all in the
same area just the same depth.
