Does anyone night drift for walleyes and crappie at Mosquito? I pick them up during the day drifting but with work its hard to get out much before dark. Would it be better to anchor and fish or drift after dark?

Drift-if there's some breeze. You cover more water/put your presentations in front of more fish. You could anchor and fish a dry hole for hours without any success. If calm, try an oar stroke or short electric motor thrust for some new scenery. If you find them, then quietly anchor down. My two cents...
(The stump fields, east side, off 305 ramp would be good for both species you mentioned this time of year. Start in 14-18 feet.)

Thanks. I know a lot of people use a light to draw in the bait fish but I cant stand sitting in one spot fishing. I will drift all day and if I can get the same action at night thats what I'll try.
