headed up there in a couple weeks, any hints no boat, just thinking of wetting a line for a few hours.

  2. The “Whirlpool” at the bottom of the gorge. Local folks will point the way if you’re not familiar with the area. It’s a long walk down and a long walk back up.

But the fishing can be great. Lot’s of smallmouth with pike, muskie and trout, Just be careful around the edges. Crankbaits, in-line spinners and a float with roe or even Berkley trout bait will work.

    Good luck!

  4. Might check out the shoreline at Niagara on the Lake. Its at the mouth of the river and I recall seeing some small parks. Pretty sure there are some charters that run out of there. The city visitors center should be able to help you.

That area has tons of winerys if that interests you. Pellar and Jackson Trigs are a couple worth seeing.

    Good fishing and have fun.
