Hey gents just moved here from KY. Have fished piedmont several times last time on Sunday the 19th, weather was cold so was the fishing, besides one musky that hit a chartruse crank bait. I am interested in going after some eyes. Some folks toldf me they hit on jigs tipped with crawlers or minnows. What size jigs? and where is the best place to purchase bait?

Welcome to the Buckeye State and to OGF, Yes you can catch eyes on jigs tipped with either baits. 1/4 or 3/8 are a good starting weight. You can also get them with harnesses which I use crawlers exclusively on. Right now though is time to do some verticle jigging with Vibe's or spoons such as a Hopkins. Find the roadbed or some good points and you should hook up on some eyes.
