Just heard through the rumor mill that a new state record steelhead was caught off of olcott this week. The fish weighed a slim 31.4 lbs. Can you imagine that. There were two derbys going on, the 1000 a day worth 1500 a week for biggest steel and the orleans county. The lucky fisherman was in neither, sounds like a story someone told me at a wbsa meeting a few weeks ago about always paying just incase.

PapaScott,
That's not a rumor at all. The guy who caught it was from Tallmadge, Ohio. I'm heading up next week and you better believe I'll be shelling out the entry fee for the 100 day derby...you never know ;)
Check this out.
