Heard lots of good things about the Ruger 1911's. 10mm speaks for itself, but not so much with factory ammo. Figure you're aware of that part, though.

I learned a long time ago to never get rid of dies unless they're duplicates. Keeping dies for obscure calibers is a sure-fire way to guarantee I'll never find a gun chambered for it...which keeps me from falling down too many rabbit holes at one time.

I do like that Ruger kept it clean and didn't go with the external extractor, even though I'm not a complete purist.
