Floater, Right you are. Those guys are amazing and very entertaining to watch. We had quite a bunch at our old house. The house was built on the side of a ravine with the deck about 16' off the ground. We had most of our bird feeders hanging from the deck rails. Lots of tall old growth Hickory and Beech made ideal habitat for them. We would turn on the deck lights after dark and they would go sailing off in every direction. After a few minutes they'd come gliding back. They were not too spooked after they returned. We too had hours enjoying the show. You two are fortunate. We miss them at this place.

sounds like a good time, but... bust out the camera and let us small game eaters see the new defense
Jeez, T! Maybe a whole 1 oz. of meat on a fs! A chipmonk would be a feast comparably speaking!(I know you were just kiddin!):D
Most people never have seen a flying squirrel, nor a wild mink, for that matter.
The fact is, both are very common in Ohio, but both are nocturnal also!
