An "old Pike Fishing buddy got back in town and wanted me to go fishing for the Pike in the Cuyahoga River. Instead I taked him into his first time out for the Flatheads. His first Flat was a 22 1/2#er than he got two more smaller fish. I got two the biggest 24#er.

He said it was the best fresh water fishing he has ever done and now he is HOOKED!

The 24#er was caught on a "combo meal" which is what I call a live Gill and a peice of cut Shad. All the rest were caught on fresh Shad heads. Except for the combo meal all bites where very very light.

This was most likely the last time out for the Flatheads in 2004 :( .
