i was thinking about doing a little canoe trip on the grand.
can anyone suggest a certain stretch that they think is the best for fishing?
looking for a good smallmouth population.

we're probably going to get a canoe from one of the rental places up there and are trying to figure out what trip to take.
anyone suggest a canoe or small boat rental place?

thanks

What's the fishing like along this stretch? This sounds like a good idea.

I would wait for some rain. You would be doing alot more dragging the boat than paddling the way it is right now.
There is another livery up river that runs through deep water.More of a crappie, walleye and musky water.

A good trip would be from swietzer road to tote road,
