I made it to the Cleveland Sport Show yesterday and found it to be one of the better shows in recent years. I finally bought a new custom rod from Grandt Rods, had my eye on this beauty for two years! Hope I made the right choice! When I was browsing the tackle isle I stumbled on a conversation about a new harness lure holder kind of thing. There was a guy there giving a demonstration to one of the sellers and when he finished I started talking to him. Anyway I use a round noodle from a swimming pool now and always seem to over wrap or tangle them somehow when I'm in a hurry getting them off. Plus the foam always starts breaking off in little bits in my boat, that drives me nuts. Well he showed me how this holder works and I was freaking out! It unwraps in a second all by itself and winds up easy to, better than the noodle in my opinion. I ended up buying 4 packs, you get 9 of these holders in a pack. When I got home I found the web site on the back of the package.. www.maxedoutenterprises.com ... and clicked on it cause I wanted to buy more. Looks like the Fisherman's Wharf and Dave's Bait are selling them. I saw the Fisherman's Wharf booth at the show so I would think you can buy them there also (can't confirm though). I think he said you can fit about a hundred of them in a Plano box. Very neat! I love finding these types of things at shows. I'm not a troller so I don't use spoons but he showed me a picture of a spoon storage box he has coming out in April.... If you have spoons I think your might like this one also, it holds about 60?? spoons I think and they are all front facing so they can be seen real easy. After I saw it I was wondering if it would hold Erie Dearies, I sent him a email asking that... will let you know. Anyway... the show was a good two hours of entertainment for me and my kid.
