Why can't you use a muzzleloading handgun to hunt deer?
The muzzle velocity and energy are way too low
Most "muskets" that I have seen are smooth bore, making them very unaccurate.
havent you seen last of the mohicans
I have a 50 cal inline. Barrel is 1:28 and seems to shoot pretty good thats why I asked. 13 inch barrel and was going to put a scope on it but If I can't hunt with it legally then I wasn't going to waste the money. Sure had fun shooting 80-90 worth of powder and a 245 grain bullet in a handgun.
