I am going to give the muskie a go on Saturday. The only problem is I have only muskie fished a couple of times and both have not been in the fall. Can anyone give me suggestions on what kind of baits to use? At this time is better better option to cast or to troll for them? Should I be in shallow, deep, or drop offs? If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks, GMTFishing

I don't fish that lake, but I would start out fishing shallow. Look for any last remaining weed beds. Try points and flats. Fish slow with jerkbaits or slow roll a spinnerbait. Some guys also like the bulldawgs this time of year. If nothing, go to the drop offs and fish the edge in 10-15 fow.

    Good luck.

Thank you much. I will try that. We are going to try a couple different lures. We have a depth raider, a bulldog, some shallow runnning jerkbaits, and a couple diff. swim baits.
