Anybody have some tried and true muddy water tactics they care to share? This weather has everything up and murky or muddy.

I had luck last Sunday on a rattling square bill with brown back and chart sides. Most strikes came off cover right on the banks, or cover in flooded grass.

Anything that puts off a vibration or makes noise will work.....rattletraps, spinnerbaits, paddletail swimbaits, etc. Then pick a color that shows up well....typically I throw black.

Put some attractant on it and you'll appeal to all of the fish's available senses.

Lol, probably not a bad idea. Sometimes I feel like I work to live, and live to fish. It's hard not get out there when I have the free time.
