Mounting Stern Light

Discussion in 'Boats and Motors' started by Jason6644, Jul 13, 2005.

  1. Ok so heres the problem, I have a 14 Lowe Superior V, I had no problem mounting the bow nav light, but the corner caps on the back slant inward at about a 25-30 degree angle so if i were to mount my stern light it would be slanted toward the motor. Are there and brackets out there made for this situation? Looking for recommondations or ideas that could possibly work. I thought about maybe sticking some nuts underneat one side when bolting it down, anyone have anything better?
    Thanks In Advance

i don't know what style light you have, but some(like mine)fit into the socket at an angle.not sure of the degree, but if yours is that style, you could possibly mount it parallel with the transom to make it more vertical.or a shim could be fabricated,to level the base.
