fished west of 43. got about 20 perch and 2 crappie. it was pretty slow, but steady.8-16ft deep.
How Was The Ice Out There West Of 43?? Still Doable For Awhile?
where I was at it was 5in. It could be there for a while or not, depends on current mostly.
can you tell us exactly where you were fishing. GPS #'s would be good.
no gps, but i was down by either the 1st or second bridge, they confuse me, you got the GPS' for them, right?
I have the gps #'s fro the bridge. I think they call it #2. Right beside the launch on 43 and beside the Anchor Inn-is that the spot?
Where is the second bridge? Iam confused.
yeah, over to the right 200yrds
I think thats the one at Congress Lkae rd. At least thats what jb told me.
no no no, it's the other way, i was fishing by the spot the mentioned at T's bait and tackle
JB - Have you been north? I was up there Sat. and Sun. mornings and picked up a few perch but no real numbers. I'm planning on going this Sat. morning out where we fished last year.
that same general area. everything go good with the surgery? I'll be out sunday morning, we were out last sunday around 10, what time did you leave?
The surgery went well. Recovery will take some time but she gets stronger and more feisty every day. I had to leave at around 9:30 on Sunday. Hopefully I'll be able to stay longer this weekend.
did you get those perch in the afternoon?? how was the ice?? I called mogadore bait and he told me 43 was open. Ive been up there 2 times this winter and both times were slow.
Kozak:I'll see ya out there most likely.
perch were slow all day, it was def. an all day thing, ice was ok, 4-5in where we were.
