fished with my buddy and dad from about 7 till 1230. we probably caught close to 30 but it was slow...and cold. most came on tubes with a few on senkos and spinnerbaits. a good # came from deep weeds and just plain deep water. was a really fun night to be out.

  2. I'm going this Wed and I hope the fish don't go deep. I have too much trouble finding them when they do that. With the rain moving in tonight and tomorrow I think there is a good chance that I'll have to learn to find em deep.

I'm johnboy's buddy he went fishin with, I finally got him and his dad to take me out but unfortunately he took me at night and i have no idea where exactly we fished. But it was still a great time and we caught nice fish, hopefully they'll take me out again sometime. The cold weather screwed us up, but johnboys dad still got us on fish. Good Luck Zanini

Hey JOhnBoy..it seems like you know your stuff when it comes to Mog...When I was there it seemed only small bass were up in the shallows..so I tried fishing deep water (13-17ft) with a rapala dt10..nothin..do you think the bigger bass are deep and is this a worthwhile technique to try?

I think the bigger bass aren't in that deep of water, they are just in the weeds. try finding the outside weed edge and working that with soft plastics.
