An old High School buddy, who I haven't really seen in over 30 years, came up to Lake Erie to fish with me. We used to fish for perch at Neff road in the 70's. I offered him a double header - Walleye and Perch trip.
We started the day trolling for walleye using spinners and cranks in the AM. We spent the afternoon fishing for Perch.
Here is a 6.24 minute video

Mitch had 3 nice double headers of walleye and at least 6 double headers of perch. Mitch handled most of the rod duties and I netted.
Double willow gold blades was hot. Some custom painted RR800 and HJ also did well. We caught most of the fish suspended at 50 FOW. 1.7 - 2.0 speed worked. Cutting the minnow in half was the ticket for the perch. We fished in 45 FOW. We kept 9 of the walleyes and released 4. Managed to catch enough perch for a nice perch dinner
