was fishing with wife and son down by milton dam today. Was fishing for Gills around 7:00 p.m. when we saw alot of boiling on top of the water by the dam. I ran down there to see what was going on. I cast out my line and soon found out I was in the middle of a feeding frenzie of white bass. Ended up catching 23 12 inch White Bass in 45 minutes. I will be there again tomorrow. Anyone ever hear of this happening before?
  2. yes, it is common. In north carolina they are known as schoolies and it is common to find the L.M.s mixed in with the white bass. The only difference is they are usually are not stationary in one area like you experienced, usually you have to move with the school.
