Being new to Milton .I have never seen so many pods of shad in my life .Last night looking across the lake there must have been 50 HUGE pods of shad boiling the surface. Is this normal for Milton ??

That's one reason why Milton grows such nice Muskies ! Lots of food !

  3. The reason they are harder to catch than at WB. Milton has young bait from one end to the other. Mostly in open water now at the surface. Some of last years crop are schooled in small balls just under them. Thats were the BIG fish are. Suspended! Smaller fish are on the bottom so they dont become LUNCH!!!!!:p

yep, was there today trolling thru the birds, shortlining, then longlining the humps no takers but that lake has the healthiest ,fattest seagulls around. you can watch em eat...all day...

  5. Trolled last night and only pulled 5 eyes and 1 smallie. 2 fish went 18in. Seems they moved to the NE corner. Think the heavy winds pushed the bait back.
