For catfish, you can look any where that has cover...pretty much just like bass fishing. Start fishing along the woods opposite from the marina on the right and go left back towards the golf course. You will see a lot of good covers for bass. The trick is just finding what works. Some days tubes work great and some days they will hit mainly spinnerbaits and crankbaits only. For catfish, the prefer baits for anything of size are shiners and goldfishes. You can also get some cut shad at the marina too. I have never caught any catfish there during the heart and heat of the day. I have only been able to catch them at dusk. With the weather being as hot as it has been the fishing may be slow. I would suggest you bring an ultra light and some wax worms along and catch some bluegills if it gets too slow.
