Anyone having any luck out there? I'm hearing various reports both good and bad. Thinking of hitting the river this weekend, not sure where yet.
Good luck.
Keep warm.

Saw a couple guys catch about 40 each using minnows tight lining. Appears that some were white perch.. Using jigs I managed the grand total of 4. Lol.

Have always done my best fishing for them around May 10th when the water is right.

The Maumee and Sandusky are both a bit slow from what I hear... water temps aren't quite there yet.

Was out last night at 7 and there were 2 couples that had caught about 50 between them. Some were white perch. They had been out all day using minnows and worms. Water was high with a pretty heavy flow and very murky. Water temp was at around 60.

Today, I fished! Was off to a slow start, the guys near me were doing well with minnows. Using 1/4 lead head with 3" curly, I decided to move upstream and then was catching fish. At times, with almost every other cast. Had a lot of fun!
