Im working in Warren this week right next to the Mahoning. Just curious if anyone has had any luck up this way for Walleye. Thinkin about bringin a rod tomorrow for some lunch time shenanigans

I've fished that spot many times with no luck on walleye but caught some nice cats there under the bridge. Ezbite has done good down there with walleye at night....Rich

Lots of snags and really shallow south of the summit st bridge, best bet is you go out on the west wall and cast a crawler right up in the corner next to the dam, you can park in the grassy field with the giant laying down on the wall. You can also go down on the East wall and fish up by the dam down close to the water, cast an in-line spinner and you usually get something, mostly bass, rock and smallies.

Now that I look at you photo closer (I’m on my phone) I see that’s the tressel south of 422, I’ve fished north of 422 but closer to town. I kinda stay away from south of 422, some shady people have tents and plywood huts in the woods behind the flea market, at least they did a couple years ago.

Yea, we are working at the old Warren community center right infront of the flea market. Defiantly some shady folk wondering about. Thanks for the info.

No, I was only working for the city part-time. Doing hazmat/asbestos abatement and running my Radon mitigation company.
