Lowrance ifinder help needed

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by exexec, Aug 11, 2004.

  1. Can someone explain to me -how to save my waypoints so I can upload then into a new ifinder pro model. Please explain in layman type terms. Thanks in advance

  2. Suggest you contact the manufacturer. They probably have software similar to Garmin which works with any of their units.

  3. Power on and hit the menu button twice to bring up the main menu.
Scroll down to system setup and hit enter.
Scroll down to transfer my data and hit enter.
Move to save and hit enter.
You can enter an name for the file or just let it default to a name and it will save it as a .usr file on the MMC card.
Take out the MMC card and put it into the other IFinder.
Follow the above steps on the IFinder you want to load the data to, except insted of picking save, pick load.
Load the .usr file that is on the MMC card.

This saves the waypoints, as well as trails, routes, etc. to the .usr file.

Let me know if you need more help, as I have used my IFinder extensively in the boat, car, Geocaching and Benchmark hunting. I'm kind of an IFinder geek. :p

    Bob
