We ran a 3 oz harness program yesterday back 70 and 80 around the 36/20 line to the 37/22 line, it was a tough day but we managed to put 5 in the boat of which two were fish O's. Double greasy chicken willows along with another size 6 purple colorado blade were the main attractions for us.
We did try a dipsy, reef runner and spoons but the meat harnesses were our catcher yesterday.
We did pretty well out of lorain on Saturday. We stayed in close, trolling in about 18-20 ft of water in front of the water plant and the condos just west of there. We were running 2 oz inlines about 35-40 back with worm harnesses. Headed out about 8:00 and were back at ramp by 12:45 with 3 man limit. The size was all over the place. We had 3 that hit 28" and the smallest was 17". Not many sheephead, but must have brought in about 8 catfish. Good day fishing.
