Went out of Lorain today for some smallie and perch fishing. We started by trolling stick baits in 21'-26' of water and had a 5 man limit by about 1PM. Then we went out and picked at the perch in 41' of water for a few hours. We ended up with 138 of them. All in all, a great way to start out another year on the Great Lake!!!!! :D

I was out also to get the Perch this evening.
Over 60 Perch in less than 90 minutes and the White Perch are on a tear also.
Caught over 25 Jumbo White Perch in the mix.
41 1/2 fow. #'s are N 41 30 522'
W 82 12 249'
Just in case you are out Sunday, this is where the bite is For the Perch today.
Hard to believe that as hard as the wind was blowing here at the house, the lake was flat and hardly a breeze was blowing. Even 2 miles out.

Argee--I mean five limits of smallies---25 fish---in about 4 hrs. And yes, there is a season on them in Ohio. From May 1st to June 26th anglers are noy allowed to posess them on Lake Erie. From June 26th through April 30th, it is 100% legal to fish for them and keep them.
