We went out around 10 am. Lake was a glass pond. Started in around 37 ft just off the lighthouse. A nice perch right away but then just some sheephead and a really big catfish. It was 15 lbs and 32". Moved around a little but ended up back at 38 ft just off the west end. Got some nice perch, about 8 catfish, a half dozen sheep, a couple of big white perch and one short walleye. We did talk to a guy who went out when we did and came in the same time (around 4 pm). He had his limit of walleye. He said about 4 from out 'west of lorain' and then the rest at the dump. Very enjoyable. Shorts and a T-shirt the start of April.

Caught them in the Rocky River.

Nice. I was out by the foghorn first thing in the morning and I couldn't by a bite. Glad someone found them.

Crappie rigs. We did have a couple jigging spoons just hanging off the back. Without any rocking action they didn't do much.

Water temp was 46 when we first went out and then by 4 pm was up to 50.
