hey anglers, the walleye bite is picking up at lorain,over the weekend alot of
guys had limits fishing the shoreline and bank fishing the piers, rip sticks,husky jerks and renoskys where the hot baits,troll in 11-17 ft of water

I shorefished Lorain Friday evening. It was my first time there. Stayed until about 9:30, saw five big 'uns caught by the ten or so guys in my immediate vicinity. All I could manage was a catfish on a Husky Jerk. I wouldn't have minded the combat fishing if I had at least hooked up with one eye! Anybody do well out there? I saw a lot of trollers.
