Tried trolling the East and South side of the sandbar with Walleyeguy. Lot of marks as well as a lot of boats. Very few fish being caught that we could see. Left that noisy area and headed East and finally found some walleye that were feeding. Kept three nice sized fish and threw back a lot of smaller fish. Also caught whitebass, yellow perch, white perch and Walleyeguy's "first ever" (yuk, yuk) sheephead which was a Fish Ohio and gave him a dandy fight.
Our best producing method was leadcore, 8 to 10 colors back with spoons and a "0" Dipsy set at .5 and run 150 to 180 feet back. Got zero, zilch, nada on boards and Jets. Spoons were copper, multi colored with red/gold/green or dark blue in them. We found the fish about two miles East and slightly South of the SE bar corner. Didn't take any GPS numbers.

If you were running the dipsy's at 150-180 that is 36-38 feet down. What size jets did you run off the boards and how far back?? My guess is that to reach that exact depth you need to run 40 jets 100 or feet back.

We were running the Jets at various depths and right to their max depth.

jets were 40 back 150-180 feet.
