Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Walter Adkins, Jan 14, 2005.

  1. Little Enon has a man going to the classic. Bryon McNeal a local fisherman has qualified for the Classic. I must say that I for one am proud of Bryan. He has worked a long time to get to this.
  2. Are you talking about the BassMaster Classic?! Way to go Bryon!!

  3. yep we may get lucky and see an Ohio man on the stage.
  4. That would be nice... He would not be the first though ;)
  5. Good luck on the rivers!
  6. atryhntr who was the other one or has there been more than one?
  7. It was the dude from Cincinatti... His name eludes me at this moment but I'll figure it out...

  9. DA KING... Thats it babe... I see you have more brain cells alive then I do ;)
  10. Frank Scalish made it to the classic 1 time. He's from Cleveland area I believe. Don't forget about Joe Thomas, he's from Milford, Ohio and been I think 4 times.

Here are a few others from Ohio that have been to the Classic.
    Gary Brown, Little Hocking, 1991
    Bruce Cunagin, Fairfield, 1981
    Greg Hawk, Vandalia, 1994
    Mark Hickenbottom, Belmont, 1998
    (2) Andy Sceurman, Newark, 1973, 1974
    (4) Joe Thomas, Cincinnati, 1987, 1990, 1991, 1994
    (5) Larry Williams, Lakeview, 1981, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1993

Charlie Hartley is a great angler from Ohio but hasn't made it to the classic yet. There are probably quite a few other people that I did not mention.

  14. I talked to his Bryon's dad today. As you have guessed he said that Bryon has not stoped smiling since he was confirmed.
I did not know that there has been that many Ohioans in the big show. Thanks for the information.
