LMR Smallmouth 1/4/09

  1. 1bad and I got out for a couple of hours in the warmer weather today. Hit the LMR (and yes, the spot is specifically left out of the text of this post, so don't ask... ;)) for a couple of hours.

Fished tubes VERY slowly in deep pockets of calm water. I'm talking like 2-3 (or more) minutes per cast. We ended up landing four nice smallmouth between us between 13"-16", and Dave lost a PIG 18-19" smallie just before we left. I also had a few small rock bass come off b/c they were just grabbing the tail, but all in all, it was a good day.

Dave has some pictures on his camera that I think he will post later on tonight or tomorrow.
  2. Congrats on a good day.
I haven't even seen a fish in two months.
