  1. Fished the LMR for a couple hours this evening. I took the kayak out for the first time in way too long. I put in in the beavercreek area and paddled upstream. once I got to my spot I started fishing and about 5 minutes later it started to rain. I figured by the time I got back to the jeep and loaded up the kayak I would be soaking wet anyway so I decided to just stay an fish inthe rain. I fish for about 2 - 2 1/2 hours and cought 10-12 smallmouth, 4 bluegill, 1 rock bass and 1 sauger. most of the smallies were 10-12 inches with a couple very small 6 inch ones I did get one real nice 16-17 incher that was very strong and was very accrobatic. all fish were caught on crankbaits and the water was nice and clear. It was nice to be able to get out and fish for a bit. I have been way to busy with work to get much time on the water lately.
