  1. Yakked LBC with my 2 brothers yesterday. Another great trip. Water was just about perfect, just a little low. Flow was right at 140 cfs, depth was 2.7. Water clarity was great! Fishing was good, but nothing spectacular. We caught a fair amount of smallies- I picked up about 10, all around 10-12 inches. I also caught 2 sauger, which I had never done before.:D The first sauger was around 15 inches, the second was smaller. They both came in about 6 casts. All fish were caught on a black buzzbait or crawfish colored Bomber-style crank, bounced off the rocks.
  2. Tall cool one

    Tall cool one strictly flyfishing

Anything black is a go-to for rivers for me. I think they think it's a baby catfish. I had saugers chasing my black 2" offering in last week in three's and fours, could'nt keep 'em away even by retrieving fast!TC1

  3. I've always done very well with black, too....I especially like buzzbaits and spinnerbaits....gotta move quick in the 'yak!
