I have been hitting some ponds for about an hour after work a few days last week. The fishing hasn't been great but I haven't had much time so some fish are better than no fish. All were caught on a foam grasshopper

It is a white river 5wt. I like the gold plated reel. But the rod has real slow action. It is my junk set up that I keep in my jeep and don't have to worry about breaking. I bought it off craigslist for 40.00. When I get my 4 wt tfo back from breaking the rod I will be putting that reel on it.
