  1. Can anyone suggest some good lakes that have great Small or Large Bass fishing with in OH, KY, IN and no farther than 5 hrs from Central OH? I have a 16'3" bass boat. I would really like to check out some lakes. I will be wanted to go between sept 24 - the 30th. THANKS all
  2. I'm assuming you want trophy fish when you say great fishing so.....

    Look up Chautauqua Lake in Jamestown, NY. That might only be about 5 hours away and that lake really heats up with trophy smallmouth and lgmouth that time of year!

    Presque Isle Bay in Erie, PA also can be very good fishing.

    Those are my 2 picks for trophy bass fishing year around within the area.

    Chatauqua by all means. Fantastic place to catch, bass, walleye, muskie. Well worth the trip.
