You mentioned the smart tabs, trim tabs.

I've been thinking about adding a set. How have they worked for you?

My primary purpose would be to level the boat from starboard to port, big load on starboard :D

Would they hinder my ability to trim the nose up when I need to on Erie?

    thanks,
    Kim

    LakeRaider EEEEEK!

Kim, when you purchase the trim tabs there is a chart that you match up your horsepower to the tabs. They move as you apply power. Really slick how they work. They are fully adjustable on how much leveling you want.It totally removed all handling problems thru accelerating to turning. I also added a stingray and haven,t tested without it since everything worked real nice. Installation of the tabs is a breeze. Well worth the investment. :) LakeRaider<><>

  3. Lundy - Post a your question on the iboats forums. The owner of the company uses the name nautiJohn and he regularly reads the board and responds. You can also call him on the phone when he is in town.

LakeRaider - I talked to nautiJohn at Bass Pro last year and he said to remove the hydrofoil after adding the Smart tabs.
