Lake Milton????

Discussion in 'Northeast Ohio Fishing Reports' started by Pete Moss, Oct 10, 2004.

  1. I was going to try to make Lake Milton at least once this summer, as I usually do, but I haven't seen any posts about whether the fishing is up to snuff or not. Does anybody know what is happening on this lake?

I've been wondering the same. I've heard the smallies have really flourished out there, but I haven't fished it in at least 2 years.

only fished it a handful of times this year....I was going for eyes, but it was really off this year...like many other places. I've been wanting to bass fish it for the past couple years, just haven't made time.

  4. Fished Milton for the last two Sundays for musky with no luck. Few fisherman out, didn't see any fish put in boat.
My wife got a 32'' musky on Sept 26 but that has been it.

I got one below the dam at Milton Sunday and this should be a great time of the year.

OPINION: Try there from an hour before dark till about 8 PM with large Rapla type lures with rattles, NOT a diving type.

    Good Hunting
