  1. Water temp. 55 - 56 deg light wind and sunny.
Tried a helpful hint from Bass Masters, (duh) :p
Rip em fast and furious, (double duh)
Bite was wierd on plastics, just a single thunk
then nothing! Did manage a few keepers and some
little ones. all put back to grow some more for next season.
better fish were caught on a spinner bait 3/8 oz
bleeding shad w/willow leaf blade. they really smacked this bait.
Hey, jerry these fish were really shallow, way back in the cove
by the dam and the and the first large cove on the right
going the other way. yes in one foot of water or less.
Don`t know why I went so shallow except my son
suggested it. Gonna try to add some pics to this post. :D

Great pics! Knox is a sweet lake. I haven't fished it much, but the handfull of times I have we've done pretty well, usually on rubber or small cranks.

  3. Great to hear and see that bass are still active here in Ohio. One would've thought that walleye and saugeye and crappie were the only fish we have here. I'm still looking at taking the boat out and test this new trolling motor. Congrats and thanks for the info!

hay capt got your card. I saw you coming into the cove as i was leaving. I was going to go all way back in but didn't. I managed one bass on the laydowns were you came into the cove.
