I've been using a bowline knot to tie lures on. so far no problems. i think that it allows more movement of the lure.

    any thoughts?

  2. i'm not sure a bowline knot is a good knot for fishing lines. on nylon 3 strand twist or "rope" it works well..but fishing line?? go here for some good info on knots. http://www.netknots.com/html/fishing_knots.html

if you want a "loop" in the knot then probably the Rapala knot would work better.
    my 2 cents
