I am headed to the Natural Bridge (Mill Creek Lake) and North Fork of Kentucky River area the last week of September. Mill Creek Lake didn't look to promising on the Fish and Wildlife website, any advice on past experience out there? The river is reported to have muskies. Any tips for proper catch and release while bank or wade fishing would be appreciated if in the event I would just happen to hook into one. I would think that the smaller rivers and creeks would have smallies in them too but there is no mention of it in their websites.

I don't know much about the North Fork, but the Natural Bridge area itself is not a good fishing area. The Red River might have a few smallies.

The Red River seems like a safe bet. Any suggestions for places to start out at? It appears that the deeper sections may be west of the park towards Bowen, Stanton and Clay City?
