kayak

  1. Im thinking about getting a kayak and i dont know if i need to get it registered with the state of ohio. Thanks for any info.
     
  2. Yep. You need a license on anything that is a boat, and that includes even inflatable dinghies. If it is over a certain length, I think 18', you need a title. I had one for an 18' Folbot that I built about 30 years ago.

    I have a Heritage Featherlite Angler kayak on order myself. Which one are you getting? Are you setting it up for fishing?

    BTW: You can go to the ODNR site and get all the info you need about safety equipment you will need, etc.

    I just registered mine and its 16.50$ for 3 year registration
     
  4. Im looking at an oldtown. Im not sure yet if im going to set it up for fishing b/c i also white water kayak, and just enjoy being out on the lake. but i plan on definitly doing some fishing from it.
