Finally, the Darb' is back down to a reasonable level and my summer can commence! Had a decent evening at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park for the first time this season. The gauge at Darbyville was around 2.89 when I left for the creek. This was the first time it had been substantially below 3 ft since January 1. The bass were hungry and feisty and the stream and surrounding forest were just plain gorgeous. Can't ask for more than that. Details below. Tight lines, everybody!

Lures: 2 3/4" green pumpkin tube on 1/16 oz jighead, small deep diving shad crank, green/brown 1/16 oz Bitsy Bug
Fish: 9 smallmouth (10-15")

Thanks, I can relate to the no-time-to-fish problem. I sometimes help out with public canoe trips at the park. I almost always have my rod, but never get to use it.... I should probably stop teasing myself and leave it at home! Glad you were able to get out on the stream though. Always a good thing.
