Discussion in 'Southwest Ohio Fishing Reports' started by Red The Fisherman, Nov 3, 2008.
I saw this in citybeat today. Issue 3 how does this effect us? Or does it?
I don't see this issue as changing access by fisherman to rivers and streams that flow through private property. So that is good.
It is likely that passage of this issue will increase the private use of water from lakes, rivers and streams and, therefore, the risk of pollution will rise proportionately. I'm not as concerned about polluter as I am with water levels in lakes and in particularly streams and rivers. We all have to keep an eye out and report polluters but what about the water levels? To me, that is the big unknown. It is also likely that it will create some jobs.
The way I look at it, we don't need a state constitutional amendment to amend rights that are already well defined.
