Going camping next week and wondering if the lake is electric only or if I can put my bass boat in and use my motor at idle speed

bass fishing is not very good. Crappie fishing is ok. you will catch about 30 little ones for every keeper. Catfishing is decent and you can get some good carp if you know where to look.

Are there any size to the cats? Just wondering what size baits I should be using. If the common size is 5-10 pounds I like using cut shad and bluegill if there any smaller than 5 pounds I won't waste my time catching bait and just go to liver

it varies. never really caught huge ones but never tried bigger bait. fished it a lot growing up and normally just used worms and stink baits. we used to fish for carp a lot on the bridge and then under the berry trees. hooked to huge carp just using bread

yeah they are fun to catch. We always tried from shore so i am sure you can do better in a boat
