Planning a first crappie trip to Indian Lake and was wanting some information on a launch ramp near a possible good area. I got a 16-ft boat with a 9.9. Just need something not to far to travel. Thanks for any help.
  2. If you are wanting Crappie I would suggest the ramp at Black Hawk there are some channels there that provide some good cover for crappies. If you are targeting saugeyes I would put in at the Moundwood ramp and fish the Dream Bridge area which would be to the right as you go out the channel it is in a no wake zone and there is some water in that area that is 10 to 13 feet deep. Most of the water in the lake is 4 to 6 foot deep. Good Luck

  3. Blackhawk i would say is best now channel area has crappies and there are plenty of lillypads to work around. Moundwood also but not as good right now for crappie but has channels that are good near it.
