i was wondering where a good public lake is around delaware county and how the ice is holding up?
man, it might be tough getting onto any lake now....
And right now off the top of my head I can't think of any... Normally your city/county/township parks you can't ice fish them... So that takes out alot of ponds...
Alum/Hoover/O'Shay/Griggs are out of question at this point.
I agree nowhere safe. Not worth risking it.
Yesterday while driving down Africa, I actually saw a guy on the ice. The one spot where you always see early season ice fishermen. I have seen guys fish there when the lake is open right at the ramp. Personally with the way the melt has been, I would think that the ice would have that soft feel.... and no panfish is worth that. (my opinion)
