Started in front of Castle pulling meat up high. With South blow we started in 30ft and trolled North till 43 ish ft. 1.2-1.5 mph. Harnesses, 1 oz and 2 oz inline weights/harnesses off boards. Figured with surface temp almost 70 deg meat might still be good. It was. Good marks whole way and cycled through a lot of fish. Some junk but not too bad. No slobs but good grade of 22-25" fish with some spikes mixed in. Mid October and I went for a swim to cool off in between passes (WOW).
Sunday we trolled back and forth in front of Castle in 17-20 ft of water. 2 oz 22 back at 1.5 mph was hot lead. Metallic blades. Really good bite. Finished by 11 yesterday with fat fish.

Habitual eyer: Thanks for the report. I, along with two friends, got a three man limit today on Ruggles reef. 20-30 back on 1 oz. and 2 oz. in-line weights with Colorado blade harnesses. Not a fast and furious pick but steady. The west side of the reef between cranberry and the castle seemed to be the most consistent area. Caught fish between 16-21 FOW. Speed 1.5. Good luck to everyone! Forgot to mention a 13 inch perch as a bonus!!
